N-400: New fees for processing citizenship application

On January 30, 2024 USCIS USCIS announced a final rule, published in the Federal Register, adjusting the required fees for most immigration applications and petitions.

The new fees will take effect on April 1, 2024. 1 de abril de 2024.

Applications and petitions postmarked on or after April 1, 2024, must include the new fees or USCIS will not accept them.

What you need to know when submitting your form:

The new filing fee becomes effective for submissions postmarked on April 1, 2024, and thereafter.

If you submit a prior acceptable edition of the form to USCIS starting April 1, 2024, you must include the new filing fee.

If you submit the application online, you must submit your online application and drafts of the current version of Form N-400 no later than March 31, 2024. 

This requirement applies only to Form N-400. On April 1, USCIS will remove all pending drafts of Form N-400, and you will need to restart your application.
