Biography

Javier Montano Miranda is a recognized member of the immigration law community in Florida, United States.

With 20 years of experience practicing immigration law, he has served as the Managing Director of Montano Miranda Law Office—based in Miami, Florida—for the past 17 years.

His firm, Montano Miranda Law Office, has successfully handled thousands of immigration cases over two decades of legal practice. Public figures, high-level corporate executives, and international investors have entrusted him with their immigration representation to obtain legal status in the United States.

Attorney Montano Miranda provides legal representation in matters related to family-based immigration, employment- and investment-based visas, lawful permanent residency, and citizenship.

In addition, he served as external counsel to the Consulate of Mexico in Miami, was a member of the Advisory Council of Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and sat on the Board of the Mexico–Miami Chamber of Commerce.

Attorney Javier Montano also served as Vice Chair of AILA’s Border Patrol Liaison Committee and currently represents clients before the Executive Office for Immigration Review and the Board of Immigration Appeals in deportation proceedings.

Previously, Javier Montano worked at the Consulate of Mexico in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he advised the Mexican community in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey on criminal law, human rights, and immigration issues. He also provided guidance to U.S. attorneys on matters related to Mexican law and immigration to Mexico.
